Shenandoah National Park Backpacking Trip, August, 2003

On the first weekend of August, 2003, a band of scouts and scouters from Troop 132 camped and hiked in Shenandoah National Park. Along the way, they encountered rain, fog, sunshine, deer, a bear, The Confederate Cavalry, and a curious assortment of people along the Appalachian Trail.
